Contact with other recovering compulsive overeaters is a helpful way to avoid the isolation that is so common among us. Many people call, text, or email their sponsors and other OA members daily. You can find OA members by attending meetings.

I suggest reaching out to at least 3 recovering compulsive overeaters per day to connect, ask for help, and extend your help to those who may be struggling. Ask what Step they are working on and what they can tell you about their Step experience. Tell them what Step you are working on and share your experience, strength, and hope. Share your reading or writing. Listen.
