The Tools of Recovery (OA)*:
The OA tools are not a substitute for the Steps but many (including myself) have found that, when practiced daily, they are crucial to staying focused and connected throughout the Step journey.
In addition, it will be important to have these tools to use as you detox from your “alcoholic” trigger foods and work the Steps to get to neutrality surrounding food.
I would suggest creating an action plan and committing your daily tools to another partner in recovery for accountability.
